Project Description:
PCP Surveyors were appointed pre-contract during the initial feasibility stages to provide a full elemental cost plan on this proposed modernist new build home. This enabled early budget planning to be reviewed with the client and areas for value engineering and cost saving to be explored. PCP Surveyors then managed the full competitive tender process, ensuring the appointment of a suitable contractor to deliver this build.

Project Description:
PCP Surveyors were appointed right from the initial design stages through to project completion as Project Manager & lead consultant. The property was situated in a conservation area and was extended to the front and side elevations as well as being completely refurbished internally. Due to the close proximity of the neighbours there were also complex Party Wall matters that were successfully resolved between all parties. The property completed on programme and within budget and the client is extremely please with their new refurbished home.

Project Description:
Due to the complex nature of this refurbishment on an existing historic building there were a significant number of variations to the works once on site. PCP Surveyors were appointed post contract to manage these changes through fortnightly valuations and diligent record keeping enabling a detailed contract instruction register to be maintained at all times. This allowed the client to have a clear understanding of the budget and proposed final account at all times to prevent any overspend of their budget.

Construction of a new house in Wiggington on Green Belt Land
Project Description:
PCP Surveyors were appointed as Contract Administrator, Quantity Surveyor and Principal Designer by a private residential client wishing to build their dream home out of Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) Construction Method. The large grounds are being completely landscaped and once complete the house will utilise an array of renewable technologies including a large PV array on the adjacent field and an Air Source Heat Pump. The project is currently onsite and due for completion next Summer.

Construction of a new single storey house in Berkhamsted
Project Description:
PCP Surveyors were appointed as Contract Administrator & Quantity Surveyor by a private residential client wishing to build a single storey home on a piece of infill land located on a sort after private road in Berkhamsted. The project included a ground source heat pump installation, hot tub and manicured landscaped gardens (inc. a private entrance courtyard). The project successfully completed in Autumn 2022 working with KFM Architects and SK Wright Builders Ltd.

Construction of a new house in Berkhamsted with Basement
Project Description:
PCP Surveyors were appointed as Contract Administrator, Quantity Surveyor and Principal Designer by a private residential client wishing to build their dream home using a pre-fab concrete Construction Method. This involved a specialist pre-fab concrete company who constructed the basement and superstructure. A separate Contractor was then appointed to complete the external and internal finishes, M&E installations and landscaping works. The project successfully completed in 2021 working with KFM Architects and Atkins PM Ltd.

Demolition of an existing property, and construction of two new houses in Harpenden
Project Description:
PCP Surveyors were appointed by a private residential client wishing to demolish an existing 4-bedroom property and redevelop the site for the construction a new four and new three bed property in its place. As Quantity Surveyor and Contract Administrator, PCP Surveyors successfully delivered the project in 2022 on time and budget for the client in conjunction with Next Generation Construction and Chantry Architects.
